Kelly Kim is the owner of Mon Chourie, a micro bakery specializing in Korean-style cream puffs and choux au craquelin in creative flavors like Dubai chocolate, Vietnamese coffee, and banana pudding matcha latte. Korean cream puffs have a thin and crisp exteior, with light and fluffy filling that’s not too sweet.
Kelly launched the bakery in the summer of 2024 with help from her mom, who operates a cream puff business in South Korea. Her delicious creations are available at the Scripps Ranch and La Mesa farmers markets, plus weekend pop-ups at local tea and coffee shops.
